Beppu Jigoku (Kyushu)

Beppu is one of the most famous hot spring in Japan, located at Oita prefecture in Kyushu.

"Chinoike Jigoku" of the bloody red water at 78℃, designated as a national scenic spot.
The literal meaning of "Chinoike Jigoku" is "blood pond hell" in Japanese.

"Umi Jigoku"  is the cobalt blue pond of hot spring at 98℃, designated as a national scenic spot.
The literal meaning of "Umi Jigoku" is "sea hell" in Japanese.

The garden in Umi Jigoku.    There are gigantic lotus and tropical water lilies in hot spring waters.
